Oriental & Area rugs

Oriental and area rugs come in all shapes, sizes and material types. Because of this varying nature we find that it is better to come and pick up your rugs and clean them in our shop. This way we can closely monitor their progress. The process is similar to cleaning your wall-to-wall carpet.

We start by thoroughly vacuuming both sides of the carpet. Then we treat the rugs with a chemical that stops any dyes in the rugs from bleeding. Then the rug is cleaned with our truck-mounted steam cleaner. We put fans on the rugs so that they will dry as fast as possible. This helps stop any browning that might occur and helps the colors not bleed.
